Auditions

Magnum Chorum, the 40-voice Twin Cities chamber choir, seeks singers of all voice parts for its dynamic 2008-2009 concert season, which features an All Saints concert, candlelight Christmas concerts, Requiem concert, rewarding musical collaborations, and singing for Sunday worship services. The season schedule will be available at auditions.

Auditions are by appointment only and are held in the choir room at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Road, St. Louis Park, MN. To schedule your audition time and receive directions, please call (612) 219-4151.

Audition Preparation

Your 10 minute audition includes a prepared vocal solo (art song, aria or lied), and sight-reading and tonal memory exercises. Please bring an extra copy of your prepared music for the accompanist (provided). Following your vocal audition is a brief interview regarding your interest in singing with Magnum Chorum.
