Go tell it on the Mountain!  Celebrate the joy and peace of Christmas as the voices of Magnum Chorum bring the Christmas story to life in a radiant evening of carols both traditional and new.  You’ll enjoy nostalgic music by Grieg, the chiming resonance of Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming by Sandström, and a charming French lullaby by Villette. Stunning and chromatic, Creator Spirit and the jubilant Today Heaven Sings by Jennings are featured along with divine music by Mendelssohn and Fauré.  With lyrical oboe, How Still He Lies and a tender Infant Holy, Infant Lowly capture the Christmas miracle borne in a humble stable so long ago, as Thy Little Ones Dear Lord reminds us we too are God’s children.  Berg’s lush Ave Maria and delightful settings of O Little Town of Bethlehem and Angels We Have Heard on High promise a splendid evening for you and yours!
