Go tell it on the Mountain! Celebrate the joy of Christmas as the voices of Magnum Chorum bring the miraculous story of Christmas to life in a radiant evening of carols both traditional and new. Enjoy the marvelous Star in the East: A Suite of Carols with hammer dulcimer by Malcolm Dalglish, the chiming resonance of Lo, How A Rose E’er Blooming by Sandstrom, and delightful The Three Kings by Willan. You’ll hear sparkling carols from the Burt Family tradition, including the latest carol of Abbie Burt Betinis, and traditional favorites Lost in the Night and Sing Nowell, Sing Gloria from the Christiansens. Lyrical oboe, music by Tavener and Gretchaninoff, a tender This Little Light of Mine, and a rousing African Noel bring the wonder of Christmas to you and yours.
