Just as the fall colors fade, set your spirit soaring to divine music for All Saints Day in the lovely Cathedral of Saint Mark. We honor the departed in Duruflé’s Requiem, an achingly beautiful masterwork of hope and spiritual anguish. Featuring chamber orchestra, the music of Duruflé is profoundly moving in moments of dramatic intensity and exquisite restraint. You’ll experience the inspiration of Minnesota composers in Ralph Johnson’s powerful Psalm 96, a humble reminder that We Come Only in Passing by Linda Tutas Haugen, The Vision of John by Ronald Nelson, and the reassuring A Future With Hope by Daniel Kallman. Music by Alice Parker evokes the harps eternal and completes an uplifting evening for remembrance and renewal.
